PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course

Advanced Open WaterThe National Diving Center's Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course consists of a short orientation session, followed by one Confined Water training session. Five Open Water Certification dives are conducted to complete the certification - or the class can be taught as a referral, allowing you to complete your certification dives on vacation.

Ready for the next steps, or looking for a way to keep your dive skills fresh in between trips? Take the Advanced Open Water Course to experience five dives under instructor supervision. Try some of SCUBA’s most rewarding and exciting specialties like deep diving, night diving, navigation, wreck diving, photography, and many more.

padi_logo.jpgThe prerequisite for the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course is an internationally recognized entry level (Open Water) SCUBA certification. The Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course is a continuing education program designed to introduce specialty diving techniques and equipment, and consists of five Open Water training dives. Three required dives will be conducted; Night Diving, Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. You will have the opportunity to discuss the two elective dives with your instructor; choose from Search and Recovery, Wreck Diving, Underwater Photography, Boat Diving, Drysuit Diving, and many more specialties.

After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

Upon successful completion of the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course you will be issued an internationally recognized PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification!

The tuition for this course is $199 and includes your textbook, all classroom materials, as well as the use of all SCUBA gear during the class and certification dives (regulator, bcd, exposure suit, tanks, and weightbelt with weights).  Students only need to provide their own personal snorkeling gear, two regulator mouthpieces, an underwater light and tank light.
