PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification Course

Advanced Open WaterThe ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE is a continuing education program designed to introduce specialty diving techniques and equipment. At National Diving Center, the ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE consists of a short orientation session, followed by Five Open Water Certification dives. These Certification dives take place at Bainbridge Sportsman’s Club, and introduce the core concepts of Underwater Navigation, Search & Recovery diving, Night diving, Deep diving, and Wreck diving.

Tuition for the ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE is $249.00. Tuition includes the textbook; instructional fee; certification fees; and the use of life support equipment, consisting of a regulator, buoyancy compensator, wet suit, wet suit hood, weight belt, and SCUBA cylinders. Students supply the following items of personal diving equipment: mask, snorkel, adjustable heel strap fins, wet suit boots, two regulator mouthpieces, night diving light, tank light, dive knife or cutting tool, log book, and diving tables. Students are also responsible for providing their own transportation to the Open Water dive sites, Open Water entrance fees and, second-day air fills. Alternative dives may be substituted after consultation with the course Instructor, and may involve additional expenses. 

Upon successful completion of the ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE, the diver will be issued internationally recognized PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER Certification.
