Basic Wreck Diver

The Basic Wreck Diver specialty course instructs divers on the careful planning and safe execution of Atlantic Coast wreck diving, a specialty of National Diving Center. Topics include equipment preparation, dive planning, and the proper use of line reels. As an entry-level Wreck diving course, this course is conducted within recreational diving depth limits and features only limited penetration. This course provides much of the basic skills and experience necessary for our Advanced Wreck Diving course. Training dives will take place at various sites in the local area, both in controlled inland water as well as the Atlantic Ocean. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Boat Diver

Through the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course, you can learn the techniques and procedures for diving from different types of boats. The more boats you're diving from, the more diving you're doing. As part of your PADI Boat Diver Specialty course, you'll learn about boat diving planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards; proper boat diving etiquette, including equipment storage and conduct; common boat terminology, specific and local boat diving laws and ordinances; and an overview of emergency and safety equipment needed on- private dive boats. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Deep Diver

The Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime - going deep to see things others can only dream about. You'll learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards. You'll also put this knowledge to the test as you go on four open water dives that range from 18 - 40 metres / 60 - 130 feet. Training dives will take place at various sites in the local area, both in controlled inland water as well as the Atlantic Ocean. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Drift Diver

Drift Diving is effortless and relaxing because you simply glide with the current and feel the rush of flying underwater. But, with this type of diving come special procedures that you need to know so you can maximize your fun underwater. During your PADI Drift Diver certification course, you'll learn about drift dive planning, organization, techniques and potential hazards, as well as special equipment and procedures like buoyancy. But it's not all theory because you'll go on two open water dives where you can put your new knowledge into action. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Dry Suit Diver

A dry suit seals you off from the outside water and that keeps you warm—even in surprisingly cold water. As a dry suit diver, you’re equipped to scuba dive some of the world’s incredible dive sites in the world’s cooler regions that are best enjoyed in a dry suit even in their warmer months. Gain the knowledge and skills to safely don, dive with, doff and store a dry suit. Get introduced to the different types of suits so you can make an informed decision if considering purchasing a dry suit.

Equipment Specialist

Ever wonder exactly how your regulator works, and what components are inside? Would you like your life support equipment to last longer? Then the Equipment Specialist course is for you. This Specialty Diver certification course is designed to give the diver hands-on experience with SCUBA equipment performance and design, and also provides instruction in basic field repair of non-critical systems. The $100.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and student materials. This PADI Specialty Diver certification is applicable to the Master Scuba Diver certification level.

Ice Diver

Fascinated by the thought of diving under the ice? Looking for a way to extend your diving season throughout the Winter? Then our Ice Diver certification course is for you. This course is designed to familiarize the diver with the equipment, techniques, logistics, and hazards of cold water, overhead environment diving. This eight-hour course consists of two classroom sessions and four open water certification training dives. Prerequisites include Advanced Open Water Diver certification, as well as either Dry Suit Diver certification or proof of at least a dozen dry suit dives. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, student materials, and the use of a weight belt and cylinders for all in-water training.

Master Scuba Diver

This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education. PADI Master Scuba Diver indicates you have a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments. In order to complete this class and obtain the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification you need to complete your Open Water Diver certification, Advanced Open Water Diver certification, Rescue Diver certification, have 50 logged dives, and have Five PADI Specialty course certifications. The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education. But, you don't have to stop there! You can continue on to become a PADI Professional. As a Master Scuba Diver you'll be well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster.

Multilevel Diver

Since there's so much to see underwater you'll want to make the most of your stay. The PADI Multilevel Diver Specialty course tells you how by introducing you to the many varieties of multilevel diving. You'll learn what multilevel diving is and why you want to plan for multilevel dives. You'll also get to see the various types of multilevel dive calculators (including the Recreational Dive Planner, Wheel version and dive computers), as well as learn about multilevel dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques, and potential problems. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, student materials, and the use of a weight belt and cylinders for all in-water training.

Night Diver

When you go night diving, you'll see a whole new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night. You'll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Nitrox Diver

The Enriched Air Nitrox Diver course instructs divers on the safe use and application of enriched air breathing gas mixtures for sport diving. Topics include the physiology and physics of enriched air, as well as the safe handling and use of breathing gasses other than air. Acquire recreational diving’s most popular specialty certification with this eight-hour course. The tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and student materials.  No certification dives are required for this course.

Search and Recovery Diver

Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost treasure? The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. You'll learn search and recovery dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also cover limited visibility, search patterns and safe object recovery using lift devices. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Underwater Naturalist

If you're interested in aquatic life then the PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty course is for you. This course is an introduction to the underwater aquatic environment and will help develop safe and responsible aquatic life interaction techniques. During your PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty course, you'll learn underwater naturalist dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also get an overview of the major aquatic life groupings, interactions and factual information that dispels negative myths. You'll put this information into practice during your two open water dives. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Underwater Photographer

The PADI Underwater Photographer Specialty course can help you learn how to take your fist underwater photographs or fine tune your existing skills to produce photographs that will stun your friends. You'll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition, film type and camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You'll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Underwater Videographer

Do you want to show the underwater world to your land-based friends? Take the PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty course and you'll learn the skills necessary to shoot your own underwater footage. You'll learn about selecting, maintaining and caring for your underwater video equipment as well as safe diving practices while on a videography dives. Further, you'll learn videography fundamentals, such as exposure, focus, shot types, moves, story line and shot sequencing. Then you'll get to put your knowledge to actual use during your three open water dives. The $150.00 tuition fee includes the Instructional fee, certification fees, and use of cylinders and weight belt. Boat charter fees are an additional expense.

Digital Photography Course

Digital Photography has made taking great underwater photos easier than ever before.  This course teaches you to shoot, examine and adjust to give you the kind of photos you’ll be proud to share with friends and family.  Also learn how to share those photos via the web, optimize your storage and work with your computer, as well.  This class is offered to divers and snorkelers.
