Cindy took her Open Water class while in college at American University. She wasn’t a natural student – ask her instructor! But after she conquered her hesitation about the sport – she was hooked, taking every opportunity to be underwater (tropical dive sites, cold dive sites, under the ice, or in the mud!) She became a PADI instructor in 1998 and thrives on introducing new students to the joys of being underwater.

Worried about taking the plunge? Just talk to Cindy - she will have you blowing bubbles in no time! Her favorite dive destinations include North Carolina wreck dives, St. Lucia where she spent her honeymoon underwater, and ANY dive where she can watch a hesitant student overcome their concerns and realize their own love for the sport! Cindy’s day job is working as a Multimedia Producer at a software company in Rockville – which made her love of underwater videography a natural transition!
