 Matt began diving 10 years ago on a trip to San Diego where, after wading through the heavy surf to get under water, he fell instantly in love with breathing under water. When he found out there was more to see than sand he was hooked for life. While living in Central America he got his advanced certification and then headed back to Utila and became a divemaster. He has dived in Central America and the Caribbean as wellas a few stops in Hawaii and Southern Africa. Thailand may hopefully be next. One of his favorite pastimes is planning trips he can't afford to take to exotic diving locations--so feel free to ask for help putting together your next dive trip. By day, Matt runs a non-profit called Global Justice where he gets to work full-time at changing the world, which is almost as good as diving.
